New At Journey: Neuroscience, Kids Series, & More

Written by Journey

On the journey to lasting happiness, we’re bound to discover things that will captivate our mind, perk up our ears, and warm our heart. This month at Journey, you won’t have to look too far to find just that! Peak into the fascinating world of neuroscience, get silly and creative with the kids, and heighten your flow state with the perfect soundtrack for concentration. Check out our Neuroscience Series, Kids Series, and Focus Music powered by Brain.fm all on Journey LIVE!

Neuroscience Series

There’s a science to happiness. And thankfully, you don’t have to be a brain surgeon or read lengthy reports to study it. Meet Anahita Moghaddam, one of the newest additions to our team of experts who specializes in making neuroscience accessible and linking it to our overall sense of wellbeing. In this 4-part series, you’ll get familiar with your brain, how different areas operate, and what you can do to lower certain mental functions that create stress and maximize optimal brain power for a deeper sense of happiness.

Kids Series

If you know your kid could use some down time but the quiet game just doesn’t cut it anymore, we’ve got just the series for you. Make mindfulness fun with the help of one of our most relatable teachers who also happens to be an amazing parent, Jackie Stewart. In just four short videos, you’ll learn how to make valuable tools like identifying emotions and self-regulating digestible and light hearted. And who knows? By the end, you might just find that Yanni the Yeti is your preferred mindfulness and breath coach!

Focus with Brain.fm

In the ever changing workplace one thing is for sure: distractions are everywhere. We know the constant pings and dings of banners and notifications make it difficult to focus and often leave us asking, “what did I accomplish today?” That’s why we linked up with the coolest wellness DJ around for a research-based tool designed to get you in a flow state. If classical music puts you to sleep and white noise drives you nuts, now you can eliminate background noise with Focus Music by Brain.fm and make getting in the zone your new favorite playlist.
